Abstract: Polytechnic University of Bucharest - PUB, Energy Department Operational mode analysis in service of hight power transformers and autotransformers Autor: eng. Valentin ZAHARESCU Scientific Coordinator: Prof. PHD eng. Basarab Dan GUZUN The work I did is intended as a treatment model to address specific problems of exploitation, monitoring, diagnosis of hight power transformers and power autotransformers (T/AT). The problems developed in this paper were designed primarily to capture the main aspects of safe operation, in terms of efficiency, the high power units of T/AT. The study include in the first part, a broad analysis of complex insulation related of high power T/TA, it’s causes and effects of damage and looking for the most modern methods of assessment and diagnosis. A special chapter is to study solutions for monitoring all power units of hight power T/AT through a centralized system, aiming to reduce maintenance and operating costs and align the company's CNTEE Transelectrica new strategy to explore power plants remotely through a network integration of "Smart Grid". I founded and demonstrated the need and opportunity of such a system, calculating the economic efficiency indicators. An important direction of research was the development of ideas on improving the set operation applied to high power T/AT by implementing a personal model complex, which establishes the technical condition of each unit. Identification of the technical state of high power T/AT is achieved and balanced hierarchical introduce in the mathematical model and the unit with a high risk operation, something that allows for reliable predictions in the future. For the main parameters of a unit of high power T/AT we used a mathematical model of prediction (linear regression) generated by software and mathematical foundation WinQSB final technical condition of high power T/AT was based on models of mathematical calculation ("MathCAD" for regression grade I, II, III, IV respectively V) In the thesis are presented, methods to increase the life cycle associated with high power T/AT by interventions on complex insulation, used by the author over 20 years of experience, the results obtain as well as calculation technical and economic. It is also proposed and an algorithm for establishing a personal contingency plan, based on risk management that we can provide at any time-optimal solution for money to replace/change any high power units of T/AT in operation.
