Abstract: The use in therapeutics and in the connected field, such as cosmetics and food industry, of the vegetal extracts and bio-products obtained from the same, requires continuous further studies, performed by means of modern techniques, and results turning into account should be made taking into account all the premises of scientific rigorous interpretation The research made within this work has as main objective the complete and unitary analysis of the system vegetal material – extract – finished product by physical and chemical characterization and evaluation of the oxidant activity. The applied research strategy has pursued the following stages:  Characterization of 11 medicinal herbs caracterizarea a 11 specii de plante medicinale (Crataegus monogyna, Hypericum perforatum, Polygoni avicularis, Carduui mariani fructus, Chamomillae flores, Calendula officinalis , Plantago lanceolata, Mentha piperita, Lavandula angustilfolia, Juniperus communis,Hippophae rhamnoides), by differential thermal analysis and by spectral investigation;  Application of classic and modern extraction methods (extraction with microwaves and with ultrasounds) in order to obtain the selective extracts under different forms, liquid extracts (watery and hydro-alcoholic), semi-solid extracts and dry extracts;  Selection of the vegetal extracts based on the preliminary results in order to obtain active compounds of biological interest;  Use of the selective extracts for obtaining some finished pharmaceutical forms;  Characterization of the selective extracts and pharmaceutical products obtained by determining the specific physical and chemical indicators, thin layer chromatography, spectral investigation in IR and UV-VIS-NIR domains, as well as by chemiluminescence and determination of sun protection factor. In the work 48 selective vegetal extracts and 18 conditioned products were obtained. By combining the pharmaco-dynamic properties of the vegetal extracts, two unguents types were obtained, the first with cicatrizant and anti-inflammatory properties, and the second with revulsion and anti-inflammatory properties with anti-rheumatic action. Ten gel-type products were obtained, in which oily or hydro-alcoholic extracts were included, the first showing a higher antioxidant activity that recommends them for use in dermato-cosmetics area. Furthermore, the range of new obtained products was completed with four topical use formulations, containing flavonoids vegetal compounds, which were tested for photo-chemo-protection. From the experimental data, respectively chemical and structural characterization, antioxidant activity investigation and of SPF, an unitary system was defined of type: vegetal matter – extract – finished product, which leads to a complete evaluation and creates new possibilities to turn into account the active biological products, in therapeutic purposes for fighting and reducing the oxidative stress and the diseases generated by the same.
