Abstract: Tratarea neutrului şi protecţia reţelelor electrice de medie tensiune sunt subiecte de permanentă actualitate, chiar dacă s-au născut, practic, odată cu reţelele respective. Obiectivul acestei lucrări a fost acela de a contribui la conceperea şi realizarea unor noi protecţii pentru reţelele electrice de medie tensiune cu neutrul tratat prin bobină de compensare. In acest scop, s-au conceput algoritmi originali pentru protectiile specifice acestor retele. In final, s-a realizat şi testat cu succes un bloc de protecţie performant, adecvat particularităţilor reţelelor electrice de medie tensiune din România. Aportul personal al autorului s-a materializat intr-o soluţie optimă de integrare a blocului de protecţie în sistemele de supraveghere şi control din staţiile de transformare. De asemenea, se propune modificarea normativelor actuale din România, prin introducerea obligativităţii declanşării simplei puneri la pământ, aşa cum prevăd de altfel şi normativele pe plan mondial. The neutral treatment and the medium voltage grid protection are subjects that are permanently of topical importance even if they have practically been raised simultaneously with these relevant grids construction. This paper has been meant to contribute to the design and production of new protections for the medium voltage grids with the neutral treated via the arc suppression coil. To this purpose, new algoritms dedicated to this grids have been created. In the end, a highly efficient protection unit was successfully achieved and tested in compliance with the features of the Romanian medium voltage grids. The author’s personal contribution consisted in offering an optimum solution of integrating the protection unit in the control and monitoring systems of the transforming substations. The author is also making the suggestion that the existing Romanian norms should be modified by including the provision referring to the obligation of tripping the simple earthing system according to the relevant stipulations of the international norms.
